Annie Thorisdottir and Rich Froning Train With The New Crossfit App

*This is just an assignment for school, not an actual post by Annie Thorisdottir or Rich Froning.*

Over the past few weeks, Rich Froning and I (Annie) have been training with the New official Crossfit app.  We are both very excited about the strides this app has made in our workouts.  The features are excellent.

One of the best features, in my opinion, is the workout log and tracking.  I can look back at all the workouts that are stored in the Crossfit database.  This makes it very easy to choose which workout I want to do and how I performed on that workout in the past.  It also makes it very easy to see what weights I used for each lift in a given workout.  The amount of info you can log is amazing.

The nutrition feature is excellent too.  I like to eat healthy and this app promotes that.  It gives great recipe ideas so that eating healthy tastes great at the same time.  A lot of the nutrition options are from the Paleo diet, but there are other options as well.  It really promotes overall healthy eating.

For the longest time, I have been looking for a good stopwatch, especially one for Tabata.  Finally, I have something I can rely on.  The Tabata watch is easy to set up and customize.  It is also better at notifying me of the rest and work segments.  It really is an advanced stopwatch.

Because the app will be available during the first day of the Games this year, you can all track how I am doing via the Crossfit Games feature!  This is excellent.  There will be live feeds of the events and all kinds of great information on the competitors!

The 2013 Reebok Crossfit Games are July 23rd through the 28th.  So make sure you watch me and Rich defend our titles and be sure to download the app on day one!
